After previous conversations. I think I should make a post on the kind of guild this generally is out to be…

I was hoping this guild would be balanced and diverse. I myself, range between a moderate-hardcore type player. Im interested in doing a wide range of content. Or I would really enjoy doing that. Each person has their own individualistic goal. And regardless of a moments decision. It will be nice to offer opportunities to everyone to take part in guild related activities.

Due to past guild experiences. Having restrictions that prevent people from doing content can be very off-putting. And to be strictly hardcore-pvp, or hardcore-pve will lead to the game being less fun then it could be! And a lack of guild interaction ends up feeling like you arnt even in a guild at all. And so promoting a experience and opportunity to become close to your guild mates as a familia of friends definitely will make the game very fun.

I dont know about having an "overall goal" for the guild. But rather a homely setting for our members. Being a prevalent guild in Tree of Savior is nice. And its important to have a good reputation. Having Diverse Strength, and Influence is something we develop as we become better, and more known to Non-Guild Affiliated Players, and other guilds. Lets try to keep that positive.

{Additional Information will be added in the future as we are still a developing guild.}

THIS. TOTALLY AGREE.

I really think that priority should be on having fun and communicating with the guildies as we level up and explore the game. The building of reputation and getting known by other non-ROOT members and guilds shall come as we play the game and gain higher levels. :)

Aim high, ROOT. But don't forget to have fun!

My two cents:

As I said before, I've noticed that this guild is full of dedicated and hardcore, but also laid-back members, so I think that this sort of sets the tone for what our guild will be and what kinds of members we want to attract.

Although we aren't planning to be highly structured and want to be chill, I think it might be good to:

-Thoroughly vet guild members to make sure they are a fit for the community (maybe a 2 week period would be a good period of time?). This is probably the most important, because it is good to know how dedicated/fun to play with people will be and how willing they are to help out

-Have SOME structure to help achieve our goals (like systems to help lower level guildies level up and ways to get items to those who could best use them… for example, giving lower level guildies a well crafted weapon or set of armor, etc. at each major upgrade level).

Structure takes some work and is imperfect, but such things can go a long way to building a strong guild and a strong community. I think it would be a good idea to come up with a few simple structures now, so that when OBT comes out, we can focus on actually leveling, recruiting and getting Templar, not theoretical stuff like guild structures.

Yeah, I also think having a "probationary" status for possible recruits is good. See how they play and interact with guildies and non guildies. get other people's feedback re said player.

I also agree.

For me it's important to have fun and spend my time with people who are enjoying the game like I do. I'm also of the type who would help others to level up to be of equal level and to "travel" with them…together and further and/or to catch up with the main group …I don't know how others will play so difficult to predict the outcome

Maybe it's about dividing people a bit by their aims (There will be people to focus on hardcore leveling, others to keep the group together, others to switch between both).

As we are an international guild there will also be differences in the week (based on the time zone) and the weekend (where it's more likely to play with almost everyone) and becaus of that differences in the advancement of progression.

I guess here is the potential to set a goal or form groups
(this doesn't mean that we can't play or meet up for certain events or plans)

Just me thinking here^^
